Griffin-600 Hovercraft Kit
Designed by Fran Oakey, the Griffin-600 semi-scale model hovercraft is manufactured by Palaform Ltd and is now available.
The Griffin-600 is constructed from pre-cut 3mm white Depron making it easy to put together. Using Depron makes the craft very light giving very good performance on land and water. The craft measures 600mm x 300mm and comes with all materials required to make the structure including, glue for Depron, laser cut aluminium motor bracket and a pre-stitched skirt ready for mounting.
There is a choice of Red, Black or Blue sticker set available.
Hovers up to 30mm high, simple design for ease of assembly. Skirts easily replacable. Long run times due to light construction. Single motor for thrust and hover. Good performance over land and water. Ideal for racing. Structure is unsinkable, can be converted into an air boat.
Parts included in the kit
Pre-cut white Depron sheet for structure, Pre-stitched Skirt, Laser cut motor bracket, 3mm Ply, Balsa sheets, Sticker set, Material for screen, UHU-Por glue, Rudder Pivot and Connecting Rod, Screws and Instruction manual.

2 Channel radio, 400 size brushless motor, 7" propeller (cut to 6.5"), ESC and Battery pack.

2 channel R/C system, engine (19 to 45), 9" propeller, 4 to 6 oz square tank, fuel pipes and servo control fittings, means of starting the engine and batteries for Tx and Rx.
