The X500 is made from 3mm white/translucent fluted Correx and is supplied as a flat-pack kit with pre-cut correx structure making it an easy craft to build and an ideal first introduction to model hovercrafts.

As all parts are pre-cut, the parts require a light sand at the joints and can then be glued together using a standard hot melt glue gun. Performance is exceptional due to its light weight construction and the model is ideal for racing.

Due to the Correx being fluted, it is also very strong in its sheet form. The craft lends it self for students who want to understand the basic principals of a working hovercraft and is ideal for experiments within an educational environment. The X500 measures 500mm long and 260mm wide and stands 120 mm from the ground.
